Financing confuses buyers more than any other part of car shopping. Here is the plain-English version we walk every customer through.
Know your number first
Get pre-approved by your bank or credit union before you visit. A pre-approval is a ceiling and a bargaining chip — dealers can often beat it, and you will know when they do.
Think in total cost, not monthly payment
A longer term lowers the monthly figure but raises what you pay overall. We show every quote as monthly payment, term length, rate and total cost side by side.
Your trade-in is a down payment
A clean, serviced trade-in with records earns more. Even small things — washed, de-cluttered, both keys present — move the number. Get our written appraisal before you negotiate the next car.
Read the extras line by line
Extended warranties and protection packages can be worth it on the right car. Ask what each one covers, for how long, and whether it is cancellable — then decide without pressure.
